To check a Community Credit company in Peninsular Malaysia, use the official KPKT i-KrediKom app and match the company name, licence number and operating address against the person contacting you. A licence image or official-looking logo in WhatsApp is not sufficient proof.
KPKT states that i-KrediKom allows the public to search licensed Community Credit companies, submit complaints and read borrower rights.

A real licence can be impersonated
Scammers may copy another company's name, logo or licence number. Every detail must match; one licence image is not enough.
